Maersk Drilling secures contract extensions for Maersk Viking
This was pioneered by Maersk Valiant as the first deepwater MPD drilling rig approved by the US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement to operate in the US Gulf of Mexcio and proudly continued by Mærsk Deliverer as the first-ever MPD drilling rig approved by the NOPSEMA authority for operations offshore Australia.
The MPD system is powered by the Victus control system and is operated by the joint Maersk Drilling and Weatherford teams.
