SINGAPORE - The nature of KTV lounge operations makes it more difficult for the authorities to test and trace those who are linked to a cluster involving several outlets, while making it easier for Covid-19 to spread, experts say.
The police announced later on Wednesday that three KTV operators are under investigation for providing "hostessing services" in breach of COVID-19 measures.
These breaches include failing to prevent large groups of patrons from intermingling, employing hostesses and allowing live entertainment and games, the ministry added.
