Circulation According to January 2017 data, The Star had a daily circulation of 2,50,000 which was much higher than its competitor, New Straits Times, whose circulation was 65,000.
Languages like English, Malay, Chinese and Tamil are predominantly used by these newspapers.
At present, the newspaper has six printing plants and 53 news bureaus in Peninsular and East Malaysia.
