The daily also reported that a sinkhole appeared on Jalan Pinang yesterday, causing a big traffic jam.
The other four sinkholes appeared in Taman Seri Taming, Jalan Cheras, Jalan Gombak and at the junction of Jalan Sri Hartamas 1 in Taman Sri Hartamas.
If the sinkhole appeared on a road under the jurisdiction of the local council, then the local council will be responsible.
A statement on DBKL's ITIS Facebook page said closure of both sides of the road was necessary as the sinkhole was expanding.
Interestingly, this is the second sinkhole to appear on the same road after the first incident back in July 2020.
