Cambodia announced the of vaccinations on January 14, 2022, responding to the omicron variant, with high-risk groups among the first to receive the additional boosters.
In February, received a Chinese donation of 100,000 doses which arrived on 10 February.

In April 2021, approved emergency use of the vaccine, for which it had ordered 1 million doses.
In February, purchased 600,000 doses on top of 200,000 doses donated by China, and started vaccinations on 18 February.
While some vaccines have already received their sanctions, a few others are still in the process.
